Reporting Content & Users

How Simonara handles user-generated content, abuse reports, and blocks.

Zero tolerance, fast response

Simonara has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. All reports route to our moderation queue and are reviewed within 24–48 hours. If 3+ independent users report the same content within 24 hours, that content is automatically hidden pending review.

How to report content

  1. In Group Gifting / Collab plans: Tap the "…" (three-dot) menu next to a comment, gift suggestion, or contributor. Choose "Report".
  2. In Simon AI chats: Long-press any message → tap "Report". We never share your private chats with other users, but reports help us improve safety.
  3. In shared Vault links: Open the shared profile → tap the flag icon in the top-right corner → choose "Report this Vault".
  4. Choose the closest reason: Hate speech · Sexual content · Violence · Spam · Impersonation · Other. You can add optional details (140 characters).
  5. Tap Submit Report. You'll receive an in-app confirmation.

How to block a user

  1. Open the user's profile (tap their name in any shared Vault or Collab).
  2. Tap the "…" menu → "Block user".
  3. Confirm. The blocked user can no longer message you, see your shared Vaults, or invite you to Group Gifting plans. Existing shared content from them is removed from your view.
  4. To unblock, go to Settings → Privacy → Blocked Users.

What happens after you report

  • The report enters our moderation queue immediately.
  • A combination of automated keyword/LLM filtering and human review applies.
  • The moderator can: dismiss the report (content stays visible), remove the content, or ban the offending account.
  • If 3+ reports target the same content in 24h, the content is auto-hidden pending review.
  • You'll receive an email notification if action is taken on content you reported.
  • Repeat offenders are permanently banned.
